Finalmente vorrei ringraziarvi per vostra accoglienza nei giorni teascorsi con voi. Che bella camera!
Spero di ritornare nella primavera. Mi è piacuto anche la sera per mangiare e rincontrare gente di tutto il mondo da voi giù in taverna.
Adesso posso scrivere che il mio ginocchio non fa male , ma solo 2 giorni posso camminare normale senza male.

Hey William!
We can't get Nocino here in Virginia so, I guess I'll just have to come back to Sorrento! Actually, Judy and I can't wait to come back we miss the wonderful cibo, divertimento, e' amicizia a' Old Taverna Sorrentina! I hope you and Maria are well and seriously, whenever you and Maria want to come to America you have a place to stay. We live close to the eastern coast and Washington DC so lots to see and do but, we also have a nice quiet home for you both to relax and enjoy. I'll do all the cooking although, I would love to have a few recipes if you wouldn't sharing.


If you want send me emails in I'italiano so I can translate and learn the language better and I will email back in I'itailiano.

Myself and my partner Andi spent every evening sat enjoying the charms of this lovely little bar. The food and atmosphere was beautiful and the fantastic staff topped off the experience. William, Tony and family and not forgetting Duke the dog, we can't wait to come back and will definately be staying in one of your apartments. You all made our first trip to Sorrento an amazing experience - there would have been nowhere better to of celebrated my 30th birthday.

We were lucky to find this place the first day we arrived in Sorrento. We kept on coming back for the food (which was very very nice) the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the lovely sweet wine.
It is not a posh place (as William the owner said himself) but it is a honest run family restaurant with good food. Even though we tried other restaurants in Sorrento which were also good we came back here for 4 nights out of 7.

This is without doubt a marvellous gem of a restaurant with the warmest of welcomes, mouth watering food, gorgeous home produced wine, a relaxed atmosphere that makes you return again and again, a shared feeling amongst all the diners that they have found somewhere that is very special and prices that don't break the bank. What more could anyone ask for. We came to Sorrento for our 35th wedding anniversary and loved every minute. We realised that the highlight of each day's sightseeing was to visit the The Old Taverna Sorrentina. If only we had realised at the start of the holiday!
Maria and William make everyone so welcome that you feel that you are the oldest of friends who have been invited to their home for a meal.
